KUNSTKALENDER
Avenue Concordia organized the launch event of the Grote Nederlandse Kunstkalender for several years and took on the role of editor in chief in collaboration with Soba Studio. The calendar shows the work of contemporary artist from the Netherlands, both renowned and upcoming, in the fields of fine arts, design, graphic design, illustration, literature, fashion, photography and architecture. The Grote Nederlandse Kunstkalender is published and commissioned by Trichis.

Room on the Roof
For the 2018 edition we teamed up with the Bijenkorf's artist in residence project Room on the Roof and initiated an award ceremony. Together with cultural partner the Rijksmuseum three artist were selected from the calendar and one was invited to make a work of art in commission. Krijn de Koning was chosen and created an art installation in the Bijenkorf Rotterdam during Art Rotterdam Week 2018 for Room on the Roof. De Koning created an art installation in a forgotten area of the Bijenkorf that was open to the public in 2018. Within the installation connections arose, spare space was visualised and new perspectives offered. Avenue Concordia was in charge of the opening event, guest list, and public relations.
730 Artists
From 2015 we were asked to take on the role of editor in chief of both the Rotterdam and Amsterdam edition of the art calendar. We were responsible for content, event management, and PR of the calendars. Furthermore, we worked with 25 editors, 75 funding companies and 730 artists to make the calendars a success.
