AFTERWORK

Avenue Concordia was tasked by Heineken to build a strategy for the Afterwork by Heineken events in Rotterdam. Afterwork by Heineken is about connecting local business professionals to network and meet. And to invite them to discover new hotspots in Rotterdam. We were responsible for both physical and digital community building, including a strategy for social media, an activation campaign, a local ambassador program, and event production.

Together with Heineken we visited the best bars in town and encouraged companies, friends, and colleagues to join us on Thursdays to toast and chill after work. Furthermore, people can taste the latest food trends from the varying food trucks, dance on the DJ’s tunes, and drink some ice cold Heineken beers. During the past years we organised Afterwork by Heineken events in Weena Rotterdam, Bokaal, Keilecafé and the Nieuw Rotterdams Café. As a result, the Afterwork community has grown into a database from 0 to more than 10k young urban professionals.
