LET'S BEE
KIND
To raise more awareness and support the well being of the bee, the Bijenkorf launched its awareness campaign Let’s Bee Kind. For this campaign the Bijenkorf created a botanical rooftop garden during the summer of 2017. Avenue Concordia supported the Let’s Bee Kind campaign with a series of videos to call attention to the threatening situation of the bee.

Within the series we had chats with key figures around the campaign. From garden artists The Wunderkammer who gave the rooftop garden its extraordinary botanical allure to the Bijenkorf’s very own master baker who created a special honey cake for the occasion that supports bee initiative the Pollinators. Furthermore, we heard the interesting story of the beekeeper from the Heerlijkheid Mariënwaerdt estate who thought us all about how to contribute yourself to the well being of the bee with simple tricks.
